Project Summary:
A new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) facility designed to expand Newbury Park High School’s educational capacity and create flexible, collaborative spaces that support hands-on learning. The design emphasized daylighting, energy efficiency, and a modern learning environment that integrates lab spaces with general classrooms to encourage interdisciplinary education.
Key Responsibilities:
Supported and coordinated the development of architectural documentation through the Design Development phase
Assisted in preparing plans, elevations, and details to define spatial organization and design intent
Collaborated with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants to integrate technical systems and site design
Ensured compliance with California Building Code and ADA accessibility standards
Contributed to presentation and coordination drawings used for client and district review meetings.
