Project Summary:
A new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) facility designed to expand Newbury Park High School’s educational capacity and create flexible, collaborative spaces that support hands-on learning. The design emphasized daylighting, energy efficiency, and a modern learning environment that integrates lab spaces with general classrooms to encourage interdisciplinary education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supported and coordinated the development of architectural documentation through the Design Development phase

  • Assisted in preparing plans, elevations, and details to define spatial organization and design intent

  • Collaborated with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants to integrate technical systems and site design

  • Ensured compliance with California Building Code and ADA accessibility standards

  • Contributed to presentation and coordination drawings used for client and district review meetings.
